Solidarity Starts Here:

  • What do these three regions have in common?

    1. Colonial History & Resource Extraction

    • All three are dealing with the long term trauma of colonization- land divided by outside powers, resources stolen, and people left to survive fractured systems.

    • Congo’s cobalt and minerals.

    • Sudan’s gold and strategic location.

    • Gaza’s land and geostrategic control.

    2. Foreign Exploitation:

    • Global powers-including the U.S., U.K., France, and Israel- have played direct or indirect roles in arming, destabilizing, and profiting off conflict.

    • Military contracts, mining access, control of water routes and natural gas deposits all play into why these area are kept in chaos.

    3. Mass Civilian Casualties + Media Silence

    • Despite horrific loss of life, international media and governments treat these genocides as “complicated” or “civil conflict”- rather than state-sanctioned, profit fueled violence.

    • When people speak out, they’re silenced. When communities organize, they’re labeled “extremists.”

    4.Resistance + Love as a threat:

in all three regions, families continue to resist with care. They feed each other, mourn loudly, and refuse to die quietly. This terrifies empires more than weapons do.

And Who Profits from All This?

1.The U.S. is the largest arms dealer in the world.

    • The U.S. provides over 3.8 billion annually in military aid to Israel, much of it unconditional.

    • The bombs dropped on Gaza are U.S. made and U.S. approved

    2. Israel is a major arms exporter:

    • Israel sells weapons globally, often field-tested in Gaza and marketed with slogans like “Combat-proven”

    • Israel has trained and armed forces in South Sudan and Central Africa.

    3. The Congo’s mineral wealth is extracted through violence:

    • The cobalt and coltan used in your phone, laptop, and electric car battery are mined by children and exploited laborers, fueling corporate tech and military infrastructure.

    4. Sudan’s war is a proxy battlefield

    • Global powers want control of gold, oil, and Red Sea Access, and support different armed fractions to keep chaos profitable.
